Des Moines. Built in crowd who welcome outsiders with open arms. Never
a cover charge and one of the few places that actually pays the band via
guarantee. Owner is top notch. Best way for a booking is to call.
Live music every Tuesday through Sunday. Books bands

The BBC is located in Clive west of Des Moines. Great
place for a loose gig. Smaller stage but the atmosphere is perfect. Great

Des Moines, this club is a tough nut to crack. Books mostly touring regional
and national acts. Huge room, stellar sound, large sound and a honest
to God green room with limited intruder access. Check the website for

One of the best clubs in Iowa City. After a brief
