Here's to your health...

Well, here we go. The powers that be have saved this crap infested country once again despite the fact that they listen and answer to no one. Historic is the word they are using. Historic. From the angle that I view it would seem to send a message to the American population… almost drawing a line in the sand that is right and wrong, legal and unconstitutional. Daring the great many that sit idly by to speak up, say anything really. But yet not a peep, no great revolution to stop an act that is by far the most brazen attempt to undermine the constitution in its entirety. Is it wrong for me to want to crush the will clean out of some living thing every time Nancy Pelosi’s voice can be heard? Every time I see John McCain’s smug face, skin so thin you can actually watch his blood pulsate through his black little veins on my television I vomit a little. That’s what happens when you look pure evil in the face… you react with either violence or disgust. I do both.
So where do we go from here? Do we ignore legality of this mess and hope for the best? Jesus, I hope not. It wasn’t that long ago that I attempted to download the proposed legislation and begin to sift through the intricately scripted mumbo jumbo only to find it made little sense. 2400 plus pages of regurgitation of the current laws with the caveat being the federal government now benefits and the medical industry does not as well as mandating that all citizens obtain medical insurance or face a penalty for not attempting to be healthy. And then they spring 154 pages of amendments to the 2400 page document and dare you to put the puzzle pieces in place correctly before they pull the trigger. Maybe I’m a slow reader but I felt like the cards were stacked against me and try as I may, I will never be smarter than Nancy von Satan. It stings.
The above argument itself destroys the relationship between the states and feds, making the citizens hopelessly caught in the middle of a cluster fuck that has been in the making for the past 75 years. Government usurping the people. Damn shame.
So I’m not really sure of my intent on this piece. Maybe it’s my way of rebelling since I don’t own a gun and my congressmen have restraining orders on me… either that or they just refuse to take my phone calls. I would venture to guess that not a one of these jackasses can tell you what is in that bill and if they can, good God beware… they might be Satan herself. I have several pairs of underwear that are more transparent than this process has been and yet people rejoice. Do we know what we are rejoicing for? If you do, explain it to me and then realize you are what’s wrong with America. Taxation without representation… I’ve seen this story before.
Maybe not to the extreme that founded this fine, fine country but then again I’m not a true conspiracy theorist. If I were I would have some fancy reason as to why and how this has transpired however aside from unadulterated laziness on behalf of our citizens, I’ve got nothing. The initial reaction from friends and co-workers was relatively light. Not a mention in reality. In all I spoke briefly with about 4 people regarding this and all of them, Democrat and Republican alike, has no idea whether it’s good or not. If they do have an opinion they can’t say why. Sad to say, I’m in that boat. Maybe in the upcoming weeks I can get caught up in my reading, research of the bill that is now law. Maybe not… I might just give up, go with the flow and ride the wave that is in front of me. It is March Madness after all. But alas 2014 is a long time away and from what I hear, that’s when it all kicks in. According to some experts 2012 is supposed to be a really shitty year so I’m am of the opinion that I can choose to be ignorant right now as there are few tomorrows left. On the other hand, if I’m wrong, I need to find a different tax bracket. And so the game continues. Damn shame.
